[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Team Recovery, a Toledo based nonprofit organization focused on drug and alcohol addiction recovery, is set to hold their first annual Toledo Fall Ball on November 15th at The Pinnacle. Tickets to Team Recovery’s first annual Fall Ball can be purchased at www.toledofallball.com. Team Recovery was founded in 2015 by Matt Bell and Joshua Dressel as a way for recovering addicts to get involved, get together and share hope on their journey to recovery. Since 2015 Team Recovery has grown and offers community education, public speaking and help finding drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs throughout Ohio. In previous years, Team Recovery has put on an annual event called Ohio Vs. Heroin, which was a resource fair with a panel discussion and a one-mile walk, with over 1,000 attendants. Founder and President, Matt Bell, believes that the problem is more significant than just heroin or opioids. The Toledo Fall Ball is an event that can encompass mental health and addiction in its entirety, as a way to celebrate stories of success and share in the gifts that recovery gives to anyone who gives it a real, honest try. “The Toledo Fall Ball is a celebration of life,” stated Bell, “Because having fun and celebrating are an important part of early recovery. Having fun, learning to fellowship, networking, being of service, and communicating, is key to the solution and collaboration of our community. That is what this event is.” The purpose of this red-carpet black-tie event is to bring together anyone in the community who has any vested interest in recovery, whether its lived experience or through friends or family, this night is for the community to stand together against addiction by making positive connections. The Toledo Fall Ball will be a night of dinner, dancing, the opportunity to hear stories of recovery and hope, win prizes and witness the roast of Team Recovery’s Founder and President, Matt Bell. 100% of the proceeds from the event will be put back into the community in order to continue the fight against addiction and promote recovery through Team Recovery’s mission, “To passionately and enthusiastically carry a message of hope to anyone affected by addiction.” For more information on Team Recovery and their efforts to fight addiction contact [email protected]
