Baltimore-Based Amatus Health Adds Katie Cashman as
Vice President of Compliance
CASHMAN BRINGS MORE THAN 17 YEARS OF NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT AND DIRECTION TO THE
BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE COMPANY
OWINGS MILLS, MD, December 3, 2020 — Amatus Health adds Katie Cashman as Vice President of Compliance. With more than 17 years of experience in nonprofit management and direction, Ms. Cashman will help oversee the company’s compliance department and build out the Amatus Foundation to expand educational and outreach services. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Towson University and completed a Graduate Certification Program in Gerontology.
In her role, Ms. Cashman will oversee licensing and accreditation standards, corporate compliance, medical records and is responsible for improving auditing processes, implementing regulatory changes and monitoring performance. Ms. Cashman, who started in August, has already begun to strengthen the compliance department. She shared that the compliance team is focused on improving efficiencies, streamlining processes, developing a robust training program and ensuring Amatus Health are providing exceptional support to each facility so that they can deliver high quality services to clients.
“We are utilizing technology to digitize many of our forms, purchasing a software platform to centralize policies and procedures, developing auditing and performance tracking tools and improving access for clients and community partners,” she said. “With a strong and sustainable compliance foundation, we are confident that we can continue to grow and meet the needs of the many communities that will benefit from our services.”

Ms. Cashman was born and raised in Carroll County, Maryland and lives there with her husband and 19-year-old son.
