Maryland Mental Health Treatment
Roughly 42 percent of adults in Maryland report having a mental illness. Mental health issues can range in severity from mild to crisis. When a crisis occurs, it can be difficult to manage the symptoms of a mental illness alone.
Formal mental health treatment is one of the most effective ways to recover from severe mental health episodes.

Comprehensive Mental Health Treatments in Maryland
TruHealing’s Maryland facilities help people with co-occurring disorders to recover. We apply healthy coping mechanisms and strong support symptoms to achieve long-lasting peace that allows clients to handle their mental illness independently.
Our clinical staff will work with you to ensure that no underlying conditions go left untreated. The types of treatment programs we offer include:
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
This treatment is a part-time intensive program that includes up to 30 hours a week of group and individual therapies. After completing a PHP, clients typically enroll in another less intensive program.
- Intensive Outpatient
Clients graduating from a PHP or with a less severe mental illness can elect an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Our IOP offers support and is less time commitment than the PHP program. Instead, clients will attend three-hour sessions three times a week for 30 to 60 days.
- Outpatient Programs
