MIDWEST RECOVERY CENTER NAMES CODY PALMER DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
PALMER HAS WORKED FOR THE CENTER SINCE 2018 AND IS THE FIRST GRADUATE OF THE TREATMENT PROGRAM
TOLEDO, OH, February 4, 2021 — Midwest Recovery Center names Cody Palmer its new Director of Business Development. Palmer’s connection to the facilities runs deep – in 2017 he was the center’s first male client, and since 2018 Palmer has worked for MWRC in various positions; he has been a Transport Driver, Alumni Coordinator, Admissions Coordinator, and Business Development Representative.
In his new role, Palmer will oversee the business development of the center’s five Ohio locations, manage the roster of facility representatives, retain relationships in the community, and create new relationships in additional markets once the center expands.
Born and raised in Toledo, Palmer–now three and a half years sober–is thrilled about his new placement with the center that helped him achieve recovery.
“It’s been really rewarding giving back to the facility that gave so much to me,” he said. “Watching the facility grow and being able to help in all of my various roles has been amazing. I’ll be able to give back now to our future clients, the way that Midwest helped me.”
Midwest Recovery Center CEO Matt Bell believes Palmer’s work ethic is “second to none.” He is confident that Palmer will deliver on his responsibilities with thorough knowledge and ethical integrity.
“Cody was the first male client to ever walk through our doors,” he said. “He’s seen what we were like from the very beginning. He stayed in treatment as long as he possibly could, and today he’s reaping the benefits. One thing that has been ingrained in Cody from the first day is our vision and mission, and that’s why there’s nobody better than him to serve as the Director of Business Development.”
