Amatus Recovery Centers Names Caroline Peredes as Regional Director of Business Development in the Mid-Atlantic Region
PEREDES BRINGS MORE THAN SIX YEARS OF INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE TO THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH COMPANY’S BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM
OWINGS MILLS, MD, February 3, 2021 — The Baltimore-based TruHealing Centers has named former Lead Business Development Representative for the Mid-Atlantic Region, Caroline Peredes, the Regional Director of Business Development in the Mid-Atlantic.
Peredes has worked in the substance use treatment industry since 2014, in roles such as counselor, behavioral health technician and marketing professional. She has been a part of TruHealing Centers since September 2018, when she joined Foundations Recovery Center as its first Admissions Director. In her new role, Peredes will oversee the entire business development team within the region, while continuing to develop and maintain community relationships.
Peredes, who has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and an Associate’s Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling–and is a licensed substance abuse counselor in the state of Maryland– says that working for Amatus has granted her many opportunities for which she is grateful.
“The best thing about working for Amatus is the endless opportunities to learn and grow both as an individual and a professional,” she said. “I’m excited to share my knowledge and oversight with a team of passionate individuals who work tirelessly to provide 24/7 access to treatment for our community.”
TruHealing Centers COO Michael Silberman is confident that Peredes will excel in her new role, and emphasizes the importance of a strong business development team.
“When clients seek treatment, our business development representatives are often the first people they come into contact with,” Silberman said. “We don’t always have a huge window of opportunity to convince potential clients that they’ll benefit greatly from our services. Caroline has proven again and again that she can connect with clients and get them to embark on a huge change in their lives.”
Peredes was born in France and immigrated to the United States when she was 12. She currently resides in Towson, Maryland.
TruHealing Centers is a subsidiary of Amatus Health, a nationally accredited behavioral health system, operating 14 centers in six states across the nation. ARC provides the full-continuum of addiction related care from medical detox to long-term outpatient aftercare.
