[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]PEACHTREE CITY/RIVERDALE, GA-At TruHealing Centers and our Georgia facilities, health is our top motivation. It is the reason we do what we do. In response to the COVID-19 crisis, we’ve gone above and beyond the CDC’s recommendations: cleaning, handwashing, temperature screenings, PPE, third-party hospital-grade floor-to-ceiling sanitization, minimized interactions, utilization of telehealth, and non-essential staff working from home. As with all infection control related matters, we plan for the worst and hope for the best. While we hope nobody gets sick, we have protocols in place if a staff member or patient exhibits symptoms. Anyone who was in the office at the same time as the person who is sick will be closely monitored and followed up with regularly. Those in close contact will be self-quarantining for the recommended 14-day period as an additional precautionary measure. Like addiction, COVID-19 is cunning, baffling, and powerful; it can find ways to penetrate any seemingly impermeable operation, whether it’s a hospital, grocery store, or behavioral health agency. With continued guidance from CDC and local health departments, our staff has come together more than ever to increase our efforts in battling the disease of addiction as well as COVID-19. We will continue to work closely with the Health Department and CDC on a day-to-day basis. We will make certain we are doing everything humanly possible to ensure we can safely provide our life-sustaining services to those in need. We are still open and equipped, more so than ever, to serve our patients.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
